We had a chance to ride with AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer, Destry Abbott as part of his DA8 Training during an afternoon of off-road education held at our local OHV area.

Ethan was 12 years old at the time and this was his first ever riding school. Although the majority of the attending riders were on 2-Strokes we only had our venerable 2007 Honda CRF250X so no matter what Ethan did during the day, he was going to stand out from the crowd.

Destry uses his son Cooper Abbott to teach by example.

Riding off-road is a fluid exercise that requires the rider to adapt to riding terrain and conditions on the fly. This constant action is one of the best parts of riding a motorcycle.
