The 2023 Donner Challenge was ordinally scheduled for June 17-18 weekend but unusually high snowpack levels, so it was run as the season finale on Sept 17-18 weekend. This meant that a number of high-profile racers like newly crowned champ Trystan Hart, did not attend and that left the door open for some of the other pros to battle for the last win of the season.
